The short version: everything you enter stays on your phone. Nothing is sent to us. The only time your information leaves your device is when you choose to ask the AI a question—and then it goes directly to the AI provider you selected, using your own key, never through our servers.
What information the app handles
Stored on your device only
- Your assessment answers and results, including breath-test values and symptom checks.
- Your symptom and food logs from the Tracker.
- Your profile details and app preferences.
- Any AI provider API key you enter, which is kept in the secure device keychain.
This information is saved using your device’s local storage and secure keychain. It is not transmitted to us and we have no way to see it.
The research database
The app can search a database of publicly posted, community-reported experiences from health communities. You can download this database to your device so searches run entirely offline. When searches run on your device, your search terms never leave your phone.
What we do not do
- We do not require or create an account.
- We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell or share your personal information.
AI features and your health information
The AI feature is optional and turned off until you enable it. Before you can use it, the app shows a consent screen explaining what will be shared, and you must agree.
When you ask the AI a question, the app sends your question and relevant context—which may include assessment results, logs, and matching research excerpts—directly to the AI provider you choose. The request uses the API key you entered and does not pass through our servers. The provider’s own privacy policy and terms apply. You can disconnect the AI and remove your key at any time.
AI answers are not medical advice. They can be incomplete or wrong. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions.
Purchases
SiboMate offers auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple and managed on our behalf by RevenueCat.
RevenueCat processes purchase records, receipt information, and an anonymous identifier so purchases work across reinstalls. It does not receive your name, email, or the health information you enter. Read RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.
Children
SiboMate is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes and your rights
Because your data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app. If this policy changes, we will update the date above.

Purchases and subscriptions
To restore a purchase, open the purchase screen and choose “Restore Purchases.” To cancel a subscription, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
